Grovely State School's Performing Arts Centre on the Way

Federal Member for Brisbane Arch Bevis and State Member for Ferny Grove and Education Minister Geoff Wilson met with Grovely State School Principal Vicki Baker to view plans for the school’s new performing arts centre.

The $2 million centre is being fully funded by the Federal Government as part of its Building the Education Revolution programme.
Mr Bevis said: “This is going to be a first-class facility for the school which will enhance learning outcomes at Grovely State School.
“It will also be available to the community and, during its construction, support jobs during these difficult economic times.
“There is great excitement in the school about this fantastic development.”
The centre is due for completion by the end of the year.
