Arch Bevis - Federal Labor Member for Brisbane

Computers for Mitchelton State High School 6 April 2009
Students at Mitchelton State High School have been big winners with 104 new computers going to the school, according to Federal Member for Brisbane Arch Bevis.
Mr Bevis said Mitchelton State High School would receive the computers in the latest round of the Federal Government’s National Secondary School Computer Fund.
“The computers will provide new learning opportunities for hundreds of students at the school,” Mr Bevis said.
The Federal Government will also cover the legitimate costs of installing and maintaining the new computers.
“This year has already turned into a major leap forward for Mitchelton State High School, as the new computers follow the recent announcement that a multi-million-dollar trades training centre will be built at the school, making it an education hub for the surrounding district,” Mr Bevis said.
