| Students at Mitchelton State High School have been big winners with 104 new computers going to the school, according to Federal Member for Brisbane Arch Bevis. |
| Mr Bevis said Mitchelton State High School would receive the computers in the latest round of the Federal Government’s National Secondary School Computer Fund. |
| “The computers will provide new learning opportunities for hundreds of students at the school,” Mr Bevis said. |
| The Federal Government will also cover the legitimate costs of installing and maintaining the new computers. |
| “This year has already turned into a major leap forward for Mitchelton State High School, as the new computers follow the recent announcement that a multi-million-dollar trades training centre will be built at the school, making it an education hub for the surrounding district,” Mr Bevis said. |
