| Medicare has installed a new Access Point in the Priceline Pharmacy in the Newmarket Shopping Centre. |

| Federal Member for Brisbane Arch Bevis said: “The new Medicare Access Point will better meet the needs of local residents as it provides a quick, easy and convenient way to make a claim. |

| “The new Access Point will particularly benefit residents in Newmarket and the surrounding area who can’t get to the Medicare office in the City or at Brookside. |

| “As with phone claiming, people can pick up the Access Point phone and be connected directly to a Medicare Australia operator who will guide them through a range of services.” |

| Submit Medicare claims and receive your rebate by EFT or cheque. |
| Update your personal details. |
| Provide your bank details to register for on-the-spot claiming. |
| Request a copy of your Medicare Benefit Tax Statement. |
| Register on the Australian Organ Donor Register. |
| Receive help with family assistance payments. |
| Receive information about the Pharmaceutical Benefits Scheme (PBS). |
| Receive information about the Australia Childhood Immunisation Register. |
